The District has now switched back to the weekly garbage pickup schedule for the summer. Garbage and re-cycling are both picked up on Thursday mornings and should be out at the curb by 7am. Note: Hunt's road residents now again get garbage picked up at their driveway and the box has been removed for the summer. 

Please ensure that your garbage will not be stored in a manner accessible to wildlife. Weekend cottagers that don't have a bear-proof garbage bin should consider taking it home Monday morning so the bears don't tear it open and spread it all around. (The rest of us are getting tired of picking up what the bears leave behind!)
