Please be advised that we have confirmed the Camp Huronda Craft Shop demolition details:

Event:            Craft Shop Demolition at Camp Huronda
Location:        Camp Huronda, 1252 South Waseosa Lake Road, Huntsville, Ontario, P1H 2N4
Date:               Friday November 14th, 2008 (which also just happens to be World Diabetes Day!)
Time:              12:00pm - 12:30pm (refreshments will be served in the Dining Hall)
                        Arrive before noon if you want any "before" pictures
                        Visit early this week if you want "before" pictures that have the porch and 4 corners of the building still attached!

Note:              Demolition permit has been approved.

We look forward to having you all in attendance!  We will be preparing a release for the local media in case anyone is interested in popping by to cover the story!  Scott Gower (Facilities Coordinator) will be conducting the work and notifying the property neighbours so they aren't alarmed when the dust (er... snow) starts to fly.  Note, the building of the new craft shop - "The Lions Creative Centre" - will happen in the Spring 2009 and open for the 2009 summer camping season.  We will be working with local architect Duncan Ross on the new design.
