NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
JUNE 22, 2021
Greetings Fellow Residents and Cottagers!
This year, our AGM will be virtual but we certainly hope to be able to get together in person in 2022! The meeting is for MEMBERS ONLY so please make sure your dues are up to date by June 20th in order to receive a link to the meeting.
Time & Date: June 22, 2021 (Tuesday), 7:30 p.m.
Update: Fun Day is replaced by a Boat Parade, with details here.
As the covid-19 crisis has evolved, it has become clear that it cannot be “business as usual” for the LWRA this summer. The provincial government has extended the state of emergency and as of this date, gatherings of more than 5 persons are still prohibited.
From Kirstin Maxwell at the Town, in answer to President Norton's question:
"At this point all LPAT proceedings have been suspended until June 30 – and I don’t know what the rescheduling backlog will look like, if they intend to bump the cases scheduled after that too. "
So everything is on hold pending resolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.
